Recent torrential rains in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region triggered mountain floods and landslides, leaving Beijing's Miyun and Huairou districts, as well as Tianjin's Jizhou district, particularly hard-hit. The disasters severely disrupted local livelihoods, resulting in an urgent need for safe drinking water.
Upon learning of the situation, CR Beverage swiftly activated its Disaster Relief Rapid Response Mechanism, working with local partners to urgently mobilize water supplies for relief efforts.
As of 9:00 a.m. on July 30, under government-directed distribution, CR Beverage volunteers had delivered all 81,600 bottles of C'estbon water to designated reception sites: 48,000 bottles to Dachengzi Town in Miyun District, Beijing; 24,000 bottles to Huairou District, Beijing; and 9,600 bottles to Xiaying Town in Jizhou District, Tianjin. These supplies bolstered local emergency response efforts and helped ensure access to safe drinking water for affected communities.
CR Beverage will continue to monitor the disaster situation closely, remaining ready to respond at any time to provide safe drinking water to affected communities and support post-disaster recovery efforts.
