In the early hours of June 24, catastrophic floods struck Rongjiang County in Qiandongnan Prefecture, Guizhou Province, submerging low-lying urban areas and causing the collapse of a highway bridge across the river. By 9:00 a.m., Guizhou Province had launched a Level IV emergency flood response, as affected residents faced an urgent need for safe drinking water.
Upon learning of the disaster, CR Beverage promptly activated its Disaster Relief Rapid Response Mechanism, working with local distributors to allocate 48,000 bottles of C'estbon water for relief efforts. That same evening, CR Beverage volunteers delivered the first batch of 7,200 bottles to the Rongjiang County Emergency Management Bureau.
Under the unified coordination of the local government, CR Beverage volunteers completed the delivery of all remaining relief water supplies by 4:00 p.m. on June 26. The designated recipients included the Rongjiang County Red Cross, sub-district offices, and the county fire brigade.
CR Beverage will continue to closely monitor the disaster situation and remain ready to respond at any time, ensuring the provision of safe drinking water to affected communities and supporting post-disaster recovery efforts.
