China Resources Beverage (Holdings) Company Limited ("CR Beverage" or the "Company") deeply recognizes that energy is a core element driving the corporate development and that efficient and clean energy use and management is the essential way to achieve sustainable development. The Company is committed to continuously promote the improvement and upgrading of the energy management systems and lead the industry towards a greener and more environmental-friendly development.
1 Purpose
This Policy aims to promote the innovation and application of energy technologies through refined energy management, strengthen the monitoring and evaluation mechanisms of energy use, thereby optimizing the structure of the Company's energy use and promoting the intelligent, clean and efficient upgrading of energy use.
2 Scope of Application
This Policy applies to CR Beverage and its subordinate entities at all levels. All business partners, including cooperative partners, contractors and suppliers, are encouraged to comply with this Policy.
3 Laws, Regulations and Internal Systems
CR Beverage complies with laws, regulations and industry standards related to energy in the regions where it operates, including but not limited to the Law on Energy Conservation of the PRC and the Renewable Energy Law of the PRC. In the meantime, the Company has formulated a number of internal policies, such as the Energy Management Regulations, to ensure that the environmental impact potentially caused by the business operations meet legal and regulatory requirements.
4 Policy Content
4.1 Management Organization
The headquarters of the Company establishes a QEHS Committee as the leading organization for energy management of the company, which is responsible for the finalization of the company's energy management guidelines, policies and objectives, resource guarantee and strategic determination of significant energy-saving matters. The EHS Committee set up a subordinate QEHS Office, which is responsible for daily energy management of the Company. Each functional department at the headquarters is charge of business-related energy management work. Grassroots units should establish their own energy management organizations according to the requirements of higher-level units, and clarify the responsibilities of personnel at all levels and the requirements for environmental energy management.
4.2 Objectives of Energy Management
The Quality, Environment and Safety Department at the headquarters strengthens the management of energy resource consumption indicators according to the requirements of the CR Group, sets medium- and long-term energy use efficiency goals that are no lower than those of the CR Group based on the current energy management status of the Company, and tracks the progress of such goals in the Company's annual sustainable development report.
4.3 Energy Management Action
· Energy Saving and Emission Reduction Plan: The energy management organization at the headquarters regularly conducts statistics and analysis of energy consumption, while each grassroots organization regularly tracks the progress of energy management implementation plans and coordinates resource input to ensures that the implementation plans are carried out in an orderly manner.
· Transformation of Energy-saving Technologies: The Company actively develops efficient and energy-saving technologies and products, optimizes the production processes, reduces the energy consumption of equipment, and steadily promotes the Company's energy-saving technology transformation plans.
· Use of Clean Energy: The Company increases the use of renewable or alternative energy, purchases renewable energy,increases the proportion of renewable energy use,gradually reduces the dependence on fossil fuels, and promotes the green transformation of the company's energy structure.
5 Revision and Review
The Company will regularly review this Policy and make appropriate revisions when necessary.
